🇬🇧 Dressed Like Boys is the project of Belgian singer-songwriter Jelle Denturck, who quickly established himself on the European scene following the release of his acclaimed self-titled debut album in August 2025. Propelled by beloved tracks like „Lies” and „Stonewall Riots Forever,” he earned six MIA Award nominations (winning two) alongside European tour dates and standout festival shows at Rock Werchter and Best Kept Secret. Blending queer identity with universal themes of human emotion, freedom, and spiritual liberation, Denturck draws philosophical inspiration from Buddhism and Taoism. Heading toward the spring 2027 release of his sophomore album “And Then I Woke Up”, Dressed Like Boys continues to build a compelling narrative centered around the concept of spiritual awakening.
